CMA CGM-Delmas and Marfret are modifying the Caribbean rotation of their joint weekly Mediterranean – Caribbean service.
Effective next week, the French carrier group will remove the ‘import’ call at the Dominican Republic port of Caucedo, which is presently served twice on the rotation.
Caucedo remains covered though as the second ‘export’ call is retained. The double coverage of Caucedo had been introduced in April and it only lasted two months. In parallel, the operators will re-instate the Venezuela call at La Guaira which they had removed in February.
The revised rotation reads: Algeciras, Livorno, Genoa, Fos, Barcelona, Valencia, Tanger Med, Lisbon (every fortnight), Pointe-a-Pitre, Fort-de-France, La Guaira, Cartagena, Manzanillo (Panama), Puerto Moin, Caucedo, Pointe-a-Pitre, Algeciras.
The loop turns in six weeks with six ships in the 2,550 to 2,750 teu size range of which Marfret provides two.
