MOL modifies Japan – Korea – South East Asia ‘CBE’ service


The MOL BRAVERY will make the first visit to Cai Mep on 2 August

MOL will add a call at Cai Mep (aka Vung Tau) to its ‘CBE’ service. The Japanese carrier will begin to serve this Ho Chi Minh City satellite port in early August.

The Korea and Japan to Southeast Asia service ‘CBE’ will continue to turn in three weeks and it will trade along following path: Tokyo, Yokohama, Shimizu, Yokkaichi, Nagoya, Busan, Laem Chabang, Cai Mep, Manila, Tokyo.

The service is also slightly upgraded in terms of capacity with the assignment of the 2,742 teu CAPE MAHON, which the Japanese recently chartered and therewith took out of a nine-months idle period, and the 2,839 teu sister ships MOL WISDOM and MOL BRAVERY.

The three ships are to replace the service’s present fleet of 2,553 teu  Naikai Zosen-built sister vessels which will phase-out over the course of July.
