Hapag-Lloyd modifies ‘MGX’

Further to earlier reports this afternoon, Hapag-Lloyd informs of additional changes on their West Med – US Gulf ‘MGX’ service: the German carrier has decided to add a call at Salerno, an Italian port south of Naples, while removing the present Savannah call from the American coverage.

The new rotation, to be inaugurated by the JPO PISCES, sailing from Cagliari on 4 June, reads as follows:

Cagliari, Salerno, Livorno, Genoa, Barcelona, Valencia, Port Everglades, Veracruz, Altamira, Houston, New Orleans, Port Everglades, Cagliari.

Savannah continues to be covered by the West Med – ECNA service (ex-‘MNX’/new-‘MAS’).
