Zim adds Norfolk to Far East-ECNA service

Israeli carrier Zim is to add a call at Norfolk to its ‘ZCP’, a service which links the Far East and the North American East Coast via the Panama Canal.

The ‘ZCP’ runs in ten weeks and deploys a fleet of ten panamax ships in the size range from 4,990 to 5,040 teu.

The new rotation will read: Savannah, Norfolk, New York, Halifax, Kingston, Panama Canal (way point), Los Angeles, Oakland, Vostochnyi (bunkering call), Ningbo, Shanghai, Busan, Balboa, Panama Canal (way point), Kingston, Savannah.

Norfolk will first be served on 15 June with an inaugural call from the 4,990 teu ZIM MEDITERRANEAN.
