Effective 29 May, the Korean carrier Heung-A will begin to slot on the ‘CIX’, the ‘China India Express’ jointly operated by Hyundai and TS Lines.
The weekly service turns in five weeks with five 4,500 to 5,000 teu ships and calls at: Kwangyang, Busan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Shekou, Singapore, Nhava Sheva, Singapore, Kwangyang.
Heung-A will actually not participate in the Chinese calls and slot exclusively on the Korea-India connections. This is the first India service offered by the Korean operator.
Gold Star Line, the intra-Asian arm of Israeli ZIM group, is also taking slots on the ‘CIX’.
