CMA CGM’s ‘Angola Shuttle’, a service between Portugal and West Africa, is currently being modified with the inclusion of a call at Cadiz, Spain. On the African side of the service, a Pointe Noire call is also added, at the expense of Abidjan which has last been called on 23 March.
It is also worth noting the service returns to a regular fixed-day, weekly pattern with seven vessels deployed. The vessel’s capacity ranges between 1,700 and 2,500 teu.
The new rotation of the Angola shuttle reads as follows: Leixoes, Lisbon, Cadiz, Tanger Med, Pointe Noire, Luanda, Lobito, Namibe, Leixoes.
This is the first and unique direct link from Cadiz from and to West Africa.
