NORFOLX EXPRESS runs aground

On April 18, the 6,606 teu, 95 built, NORFOLK EXPRESS ran aground in German coastal waters and was quickly rescued by the German Central Command for Maritime emergencies, the Havariekommando. She suffers minor damages and the accident caused no spill.

The NORFOLK EXPRESS is assigned to Hapag-Loyd’s ‘GMX ‘, a 6 week rotation between North Europe and the Gulf of Mexico.
