Zim and Coscon launch joint France – Italy – Israel service

Israeli container line Zim and China’s Coscon will pull out of the France – Italy – Israel service run by Cosiarma and launch their own join West Med – East Med service instead.

This new weekly fixed-day service turnd in 14 days and covers following ports: Fos-sur-mer, Genoa, Naples, Haifa, Ahsdod, Fos-sur-mer.

It will be maintained by the 724 teu MONSUN (Zim), and the 624 teu ROMY TRADER (Coscon). Both ships are small cellular container vessels, wheras the Cosiarma service is maintained by vessels of a unique type, that represent a mix of cellular container ships and conventional reefers.
